Steven F. Raspe handles all manner of real estate and corporate transactions for the firm’s institutional clients. He has extensive experience in all phases of real estate transactions, including the preparation and negotiation of office, retail and residential leases, purchase and sale agreements, licenses, easements, work letters, construction agreements, and entitlement/permit documentation.

Mr. Raspe also serves as corporate generalist for large institutional clients, providing transaction services relating to operations and facilities (including legal support of matters involving design, construction, property management, and maintenance), transportation, utilities services, communications, environmental health and safety, security, intellectual property, licensing, data protection and privacy. Such services include the drafting and negotiation of agreements, the interpretation of existing documents, and the provision of business and legal advice on a variety of corporate and compliance matters.

Mr. Raspe also has extensive experience in all types and phases of litigation before both federal and state courts. He has represented clients in areas of commercial litigation, real estate, unfair competition and toxic torts. In addition to these areas, he has represented clients in product liability matters and environmental cases (prosecuted by both the government and individuals), and also has expertise in litigating complex multi-party cases. He has recently conducted trials involving claims against insurance and real estate brokers, with resolutions favorable to his clients.

Steven F. Raspe handles all manner of real estate and corporate transactions for the firm’s institutional clients.  He has extensive experience in all phases of real estate transactions, including  the preparation and negotiation of office, retail and residential leases, purchase and sale agreements, licenses, easements, work letters, construction agreements, and entitlement/permit documentation, including the drafting and negotiation of the following:

    • 225,000 square foot lease for Class A office space including building top signage on one of the most prominent buildings in downtown Los Angeles;
    • Retail and food service leases and supporting documents for commercial centers owned by an institutional landlord;
    • Leases and supporting documents for large residential housing complexes; and,
    • Purchase and sale agreements, and related documents, for the transfer of office buildings, retail commercial centers, residential properties and vacant parcels, including properties donated to educational and non-profit institutions.

    • purchasing, vendor relationships, transportation, utilities services, communications, environmental health and safety, security, intellectual property, licensing, data protection and privacy; and,
    • compliance and litigation issues, including the means and manner of avoiding litigation and related risks, and resolving such matters on the best possible terms for the client.
