CHARLES G. BAKALY IV practices law in the areas of labor and employment and general civil litigation.

Mr. Bakaly graduated from the University of Southern California in 2012 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science and a minor in Law and Society.  Prior to attending law school, Mr. Bakaly served for two years as the Executive Assistant to Ambassador Richard L. Armitage, former United States Deputy Secretary of State.

In 2017 Mr. Bakaly received his Juris Doctor degree from the University of Southern California Gould School of Law.  While in law school, Mr. Bakaly served as a judicial extern for the Honorable Dale S. Fischer of the United States District Court for the Central District of California.

Mr. Bakaly was admitted to the State Bar of California in 2017 and is admitted to practice before the United States District Court for the Central District of California.  Mr. Bakaly is a member of the Los Angeles County Bar Association, where he serves as the Vice Chair of LACBA’s Armed Forces Committee.

Prior to joining Hill, Farrer & Burrill, Mr. Bakaly was an associate with a preeminent municipal law firm in Los Angeles where he represented clients in a variety of litigation matters, including labor and employment, commercial, First Amendment, cannabis, police practices disputes, and criminal prosecutions.
